What they just don’t have time to teach you at massage school
To build your successful massage practice you need lots of skills
that there just isn’t the space or time to include on the basic syllabus
of most massage training courses. This most definitely isn’t a criticism
of massage schools or massage therapy training – I used to teach it
myself. But teaching the hands-on and theory skills necessary to turn
out competent and safe massage therapists just doesn’t leave much
room for the business and marketing skils you need to build and
maintain a successful massage practice.
You need to learn the necessary skills for success
Time and again I hear from therapists who feel they have failed when their massage
practice fails to take off as they anticipated. But it’s not that they’re bad at practice building
they just don’t yet have the necessary knowledge. We don't just magically acquire these
skills when we graduate from massage school and receive our massage diplomas. We need
to learn and practice these skills and techniques too.
Build your massge therapy business faster and more easily
My main aim with mentoring for massage success is to bring together all the most useful
things I’ve learned over the years in my massage career, so that I can pass them on to others.
Particularly all the stuff I wish I’d known years ago – knowledge that would have saved me so
much time, energy and angst!
I have tried to ‘cherry pick’ all the best business, marketing, and practice development tips,
advice and strategies that I’ve gleaned from many different sources and from my own experiences
over the years. Hopefully this will save you time, energy, and money and fast-track your practice
to increased success.
